Highlights this week:
Celebrating an Amazing Week of Community Connections! 🎉
Thank you so much for your participation this past week! 🌟 What an action-packed week it was! With Parent-Teacher Conferences, the Book Fair, Community Night, and Lunch with a Loved One all rolled into one—it was amazing! 🙌 We love partnering with our community, and we truly appreciate you taking the extra time to connect. 💛
Make sure to check out our social media on Facebook or Instagram @ausdvalleyview for highlights of our week!
📣 Counseling Department News! 🎉
We are excited to share that this year, Ms. Ruby Shoukry, an Outreach Counselor from the Carolyn E. Wylie Center, will be joining us! She will be offering short-term individual support and leading small groups—all under Mrs. Jaime's guidance. 🌟
In addition, next week we will be welcoming Mrs. Ofelia Garcia, a graduate student from California Baptist University 🎓. Mrs. Garcia is working towards her Master’s Degree and will be interning with us, gaining hands-on experience under Mrs. Jaime’s supervision. 📝👩‍🏫
Although some of the services our students receive will be provided by one of these additional counselors, Mrs. Jaime will continue to oversee all counseling services at Valley View, ensuring the highest level of care for our students. 💙✨
This additional support means even more resources for our students, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact it brings! 🎉👏

Partnering for a Culture of Kindness: Bullying Prevention and Inclusion
🌟 As part of our comprehensive counseling program, Mrs. Jaime visits classrooms throughout the year to provide valuable lessons to all students. This month, our focus will be on Bullying Prevention. Students will learn about the definition of bullying, how to stand up for others, and the importance of seeking help when needed.

🤝 We encourage our families to join us in fostering a school culture rooted in kindness and inclusion. Building this strong, supportive environment requires a partnership between our school and families. Together, we can make this vision a reality!
