A Cultural Celebration This Week

As a school committed to dual language immersion and dedicated to promoting acceptance of diverse backgrounds through our "Celebrating Cool Difference" initiative, we take pride in recognizing and honoring various cultures to broaden our students' understanding.

We invite you to join us on October 31st as we commemorate the Mexican cultural observance of DΓa de Los Muertos, shedding light on the significance of this celebration in honoring the lives of our departed loved ones. More information on this celebration is available on the fliers attached to this post in ParentSquare.

Details of the October 31st Celebration:
Before School: From 7:30-8:00am, students and parents may choose to bring a COPY of a photograph of a cherished individual or write a memory to affix to our ofrenda.
If bringing a photo: Write the student's first and last name, grade level, and teacher name on the back. Ensure it is a COPY, as we will make efforts to return it to the student, though we cannot guarantee its return.

Please note that participation in this activity is optional and not mandatory.
