Grateful for a Wonderful Year—Have a Beautiful Summer!

It has been an absolute joy and privilege to serve as your child’s school counselor this year! As we head into summer, my hope is that this season brings your family meaningful time together and opportunities for continued growth.

To help make the most of your break, I’ve shared a Family Activity Guide above, filled with fun ideas and local programs designed to help you create lasting memories and strengthen family connections
I've also included a Summer Screen Time Checklist (pictured below) that can be a helpful tool to encourage kids to enjoy a variety of enriching activities before turning to their favorite screens for relaxation.

I’m already looking forward to seeing everyone again next school year. Wishing you a safe, fun, and refreshing summer!

🎉 Back-to-School FAQs – What You Need to Know! 📚

We know a new school year brings lots of questions, so here are some of the most common ones we get from families—along with the answers to help you feel ready and confident for the year ahead!

🔍 When can I complete registration/data confirmation?
You’ll be able to take care of this important step starting on June 12th. You will complete this through Aries Parent Portal. If you need assistance please contact our front office and they will direct you to where you can get support.

👩‍🏫 When will we find out who our child’s teacher is?
Teacher assignments are typically shared the day before the first day of school. We appreciate your patience and excitement as we prepare for another great year!

đź•’ When can I register my child for the Half Time (Expanded Learning Program)?
The official date hasn’t been released yet, but it’s usually in July and fills up quickly—it’s first come, first served. The Expanded Learning office will send out registration info via ParentSquare, so be sure to check it regularly.

🖥️ How do I register for Half Time?
Registration is done through the 6crickets website. Please note: all questions regarding Half Time acceptance or enrollment should be directed to the Expanded Learning office, not our school staff.

✏️ What school supplies will my child need?
We've got you covered! A grade-level supply list is posted on our school website. Please make sure your child’s belongings are labeled and that they bring a reusable water bottle each day.

đź“… When is Back to School Night?
We’re still waiting on a confirmed date from the district. As soon as we know, we’ll share it with you! TK and Kindergarten families will have a separate Back to School Night, and details will be sent via ParentSquare.

🏫 My child is going to middle school—when is orientation?
Each middle school will share its own orientation details through ParentSquare. We also recommend following the school’s official social media pages—and sometimes the PTO has separate accounts that post helpful updates and reminders.

🧭 Be sure to stay connected and check ParentSquare regularly so you don’t miss any important updates. We’re excited to welcome your family to a fantastic new school year!
